George Larson’s involvement with the Calgary commercial real estate market began in 1986 when he joined Barclay Street Real Estate’s predecessor as the General Sales Manager. Prior to joining the company George worked in banking and commercial lending services for 22 years, which included directing a financial institution as a General Manager.

In 1991, George took on the responsibilities of a Senior Negotiator, which he continues to carry out today. He was also a member of the partnership group that acquired the brokerage from a public company in 2001. As a senior investment sales associate of the firm, George works closely with the Barclay Street Real Estate investment sales team to ensure maximum added value is provided to his clients. In his career, George has sold over $500 million in real estate properties.

George’s areas of specialization have been the mid-size retail and office sectors in Calgary and Edmonton with properties in an approximate range of $5 to $25 Million. He travels monthly to major Canadian cities to meet clients and attends ICSC conferences and other real estate forums. In his career, he has successfully represented, as exclusive agent, many of Canada’s leading private and institutional investors in their acquisition and divestiture activity in the Alberta market.

As an avid family man, George enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren whenever he can and takes great satisfaction in their growth towards productive members of society.

Sarah Lisson joined Barclay Street Real Estate in 2012 as the Office Manager and Executive Assistant to David Wallach, the company’s CEO. With over 20 years of Office Manager and Executive Assistant experience, Sarah keeps David organized so he can focus on the company and its clients. Sarah transitioned from the Office Manager & Executive Assistant role to solely acting as David’s Executive Assistant in 2023. She oversees scheduling, travel planning, project coordination and most importantly, keeping David on track. When not working, Sarah enjoys contact sports (boxing), hiking in the mountains, cooking and reading.

Iris Matta is a dedicated professional with over a decade of experience in the dynamic field of supply chain management, spanning industries in the Philippines, Indonesia, and Singapore. Her expertise is complemented by a bachelor's degree in computer science from the Philippines. Iris has transitioned from a part-time Accounting Assistant at Barclay Street Real Estate to a full-time Purchasing Officer, where she now focuses on streamlining procurement processes, optimizing supply chain strategies, and driving operational efficiencies.

Iris finished her Diploma in Business Administration, majoring in Supply Chain Management, from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) in 2024. The knowledge and skills she acquired during her studies will be directly applied to her role at Barclay's property management team, providing an advantage in enhancing procurement strategies, improving operational efficiency, and further strengthening the company's supply chain processes.

Iris excels in collaborative environments, fostering positive work dynamics. Her technical expertise, extensive industry knowledge across international markets, and continuous learning approach make her a versatile and valuable asset to the organization.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Iris enjoys immersing herself in Alberta's natural beauty and cultural richness.
