In 2000, David launched his career in Canadian commercial real estate by joining Torode Real Estate. The following year, he became part of a group of senior negotiators who acquired the Torode real estate brokerage. By 2003, David had taken on the role of President and Broker, and the brokerage was rebranded as Barclay Street Real Estate.

Nicky joined Barclay Street in spring 2021 as an Administrative Assistant, supporting commercial brokers across office leasing, investment, retail, and industrial. Recognized for her strong performance and ability to take on more responsibility, Nicky was promoted to Office Manager in 2023. She now oversees the day-to-day operations across both the Brokerage and Property Management divisions, ensuring consistency, supporting teams across the organization, and keeping operations running smoothly.
