Anthony joined Barclay Street in 2015 after launching his commercial real estate research career with the world’s fastest-growing commercial real estate services firm. As the Director of Research, Anthony composes the firm’s reports covering the office, investment and retail markets in Calgary and Edmonton. Additionally, he is a key media liaison and manages the firm’s social media presence.
Anthony possesses Bachelor’s Degrees in Criminology and Sociology, which he has applied to his volunteer role in the provincial Exrtajudicial Sanctions (EJS) Program since 2005 and as a project manager with the Calgary Youth Justice Society, where he designed and ran a multi-year EJS enhancement project for the Young Offender Branch.

Angela comes to Barclay Street with over 20 years experience in property management. Angela started her career in commercial real estate and property management as a Clerical Assistant for a large commercial office building in the downtown Calgary area after she moved to Canada from the UK in 1994. She then moved on to work as a Property Administrator gaining experience in commercial office, suburban, industrial and retail portfolios. Angela obtained her Real Estate Licence in 2006 and is keen to expand her knowledge of property management within the residential and condominium sector with Barclay Street Real Estate. She is a self-starter who is passionate about property management and interacting with people on a daily basis.
A seasoned professional, Nathalie brings over 27 years of experience in customer service and property management.
During her years in property management in Quebec, Nathalie worked with a number of companies managing all aspects of rental properties including condominiums, both residential and commercial. Since moving to Alberta in 2010, Nathalie has focused exclusively on condominiums and has managed a large diverse portfolio of residential and commercial condominiums in Calgary and its surrounding areas.
Clients appreciate Nathalie’s practical approach to problem solving and her strong organizational abilities. She has extensive experience with governance issues and working with owners and volunteer Boards.
A lifelong learner, Nathalie has earned both her CPM® and her ARM® designations. She is very active in our industry, serving on the Board of the Real Estate Institute of Canada, Calgary Chapter, as President elect as well as on the Steering Committee for the annual Alberta Condominium and Real Estate conference. She has been sitting on the Board of Directors for her own Condominium for the past several years.
In 2008, Jolene moved to Calgary from British Columbia and entered the real estate market as the Executive Assistant to Jon Mook. In 2012, Jolene moved into the role of Marketing Coordinator for the Industrial Division where she works very closely with the team on the development of marketing strategies and material. In her role, she ensures the team is equipped with communication material that will effectively market their client’s property and displays the highest degree of professionalism. Jolene completed her Graphic Designer Certification from the University of Calgary.
Outside of work, Jolene enjoys getting out to the mountains whenever possible for hiking and has a passion for diving and international travel.
Alex Stan has worked in building operations for several years, focusing on mechanical systems through a family run company operating in Calgary. Alex brings a well developed knowledge and experience to various repair and maintenance programs for the properties he oversees which in turn provides great value to owners. Alex prides himself in his customer service approach that is both professional and prompt that allows him to provide very thoughtful solutions to various issues within the properties. It has been noted by his peers that Alex demonstrates a great deal of enthusiasm and vigor in the execution of the role of building operator, which has been deemed very inspiring to his co-workers.
Casey Stuart has been in the Calgary real estate market for nearly 9 years and has negotiated over 275 industrial real estate transactions totaling over $300 million. As a Vice President on Barclay Street Real Estate’s Industrial team, Casey provides a high level of market intelligence to his clients and ensures they have all the tools they need to make educated decisions through the entire process.
Casey grew up in Saskatoon and attended the University of Saskatchewan where he received his Bachelor of Commerce degree with Distinction and majored in Finance. After graduating, he entered the Calgary real estate market and has since transacted over 2.5 million sq. ft. of industrial space and played a key part in the sale of Alberta’s largest industrial building to transaction in 2011.
As a local industrial expert, Casey has gained a comprehensive understanding of the Calgary landscape through a lot of hard work, and can efficiently assist Barclay Street’s clients with a broad range of services. With extensive experience in both sale and lease transactions, Casey has successfully represented both tenants and landlords in leasing negotiations, coordinated facility and land acquisitions, and provided guidance during the due diligence process.
When not in the office, Casey enjoys getting outside and exploring new adventures with friends and family, particularly snowboarding and snowmobiling in the winter, and travelling to new destinations in the summer. He enjoys playing basketball and golf whenever possible.
Jeff, who joined Barclay Street in November of 2014 has over 25 years of building operations experience starting in 1989 as a maintenance personal, by 1991 Jeff obtained his Building Operator "A" Certification. In 2012 Jeff was Certified as a SMA, Systems Maintenance Administrator through BOMI. Jeff has had the privilege to work with a few established management companies both big and small. During this time he has developed an extensive and in-depth knowledge relating to Industrial, Retail and Commercial properties throughout the Calgary area. In Jeff's spare time he enjoys the solitude of his lake side cabin in the St. Paul area.
With an innovative leadership style and a strong entrepreneurial spirit, David has expanded Barclay Street Real Estate from a small local establishment with a handful of brokers to one of the most prominent and respected commercial real estate brokerage in Alberta.
David’s career started over 30 years ago in Israel where he owned a successful insurance brokerage company and was President and GM of his favorite professional basketball team. However, David saw bigger opportunities in his future when he, his wife and three children immigrated to Canada in 1999.
In 2000, David began his career in Canadian commercial real estate and was later invited to join a group of senior negotiators who bought an established real estate firm in 2001. In 2003, David assumed the leadership role of President with a rigorous business growth plan in mind and in 2004 the brokerage was rebranded under the name Barclay Street Real Estate.
In a few short years, David has made strides in growing Barclay Street locally and internationally. In 2007, David added Property Management to Barclay Street’s portfolio of services and the division has grown dramatically in the last few years with properties throughout Alberta.
To expand Barclay’s national and global reach, David formed a partnership in 2011 with TCN Worldwide, a real estate services organization that serves more than 200 markets globally. As a member of TCN Worldwide, Barclay Street has the ability to service their customers on a local and international level through a network of over 1200 commercial real estate firms. Since 2012, David brings his commercial real estate knowledge to the international stage as a board member on the TCN Worldwide Board and as the Regional Vice President of the Canadian Region.
On April 2013 David received his CCIM - Certified Commercial Investment Member designation.
David holds a strong belief that a company and individual are only as strong as the community and clients they serve. With that in mind, Barclay Street takes part in many community initiatives including sponsoring local music festivals such as Sled Island, local sports teams and various other community projects. Often the entire company gets involved through corporate events such as Camp Quality for children in cancer treatment and Barclay Street Big Bike for Heart and Stroke Foundation.

In 2008, Trevor Whalen joined Barclay Street and brings over 10 years residential and commercial experience in maintenance/ building operator capacity.
As the Maintenance Manager of Commercial Properties, he is responsible for the upkeep and repair of a number of suburban office and retail properties in the Calgary area.Trevor graduated from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and holds a 5th class Power Engineer's Certificate.
