Brandon joined Barclay Street in May 2017 after graduating from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. During his time at UofA, Brandon volunteered with student organizations, participated in Student Residence as an elected Floor Coordinator and studied abroad for a semester in Sweden.
His studies ignited a passion for Real Estate and Urban Economics, which lead him to purse a career as a commercial real estate professional. Brandon brings a variety of customer service experiences, which he uses to serve the needs of his teams’ investment sales clients.
Outside of work, Brandon spends his free time skiing, playing slow-pitch and spending time with family and friends. He is also an avid reader and hockey fan.

With 25 years of experience, Tamara Nowacki has become the financial backbone of Barclay Street Real Estate as the Corporate Controller. After emigrating from Poland in 1986, Tamara joined Barclay Street’s predecessor and has assisted the company through many financial ventures and changes in ownership.

Tamara holds a Certified General Accountant (CGA) designation and Payroll Manager Certification. As head of Barclay Street’s accounting department, Tamara diligently ensures all financial activities and transactions run efficiently, adhere to applicable laws and are handled in a timely manner.

Tamara’s diligent nature extends beyond work into her passion for Tae-kwon-do, where she has received her 1st Dan Black belt. She also enjoys downhill skiing and photography.

Tony comes to Barclay Street from Rancho Realty where he had acquired experience in residential maintenance and this combined with his previous experience combined for 8 years experience in real estate maintenance experience. Tony has developed vary sound practices as it pertains to building operations and currently oversees various assets in the portfolio including industrial, retail and multi-res properties. Tony also has a great deal of experience in the trades and is very proficient in the sourcing and coordinating of various trades that have allowed him to complete various complicated assignments both on time and on budget. Tony demonstrates and acute level of awareness as it pertains to health and safety practices within the company which has proven to be a true asset to the clients by mitigating potential site hazards and reducing risk for their respective properties. In his spare time, Tony enjoys camping, riding his Cruiser and family time in the backyard listening to music with his family.

Eugene Ovzek joined Barclay Street in 2009 and is responsible for producing all marketing and promotional materials for the team. After receiving his degree in Graphic Design from Kiev Polytechnic University, Eugene came to Canada with his wife and son to pursue his career.Over the last 20 years, Eugene has worked with many businesses throughout Calgary including various print shops and local newspapers, Calgary Herald and Calgary Sun. At Barclay Street, Eugene develops all the branding and promotional material including brochures, web design, reports, photography and other marketing mediums.As an outdoor enthusiast, Eugene enjoys the Rocky Mountains all year round, whether it is snowboarding and cross country skiing in the winter or hiking, trail biking and kayaking in the summer.

Keri joined Barclay Street Real Estate in August of 2014.  She is the Office Leasing Administrative Assistant. She works exclusively with our downtown/beltline associates and manages our exclusive listings, database, client packages, as well as provides all data to our Research Analyst for our quarterly reports.

In her spare time Keri enjoys camping, gardening and cooking.

With nearly 35 years of commercial real estate experience and millions of square feet leased, Ian Robertson has helped hundreds of businesses make educated real estate decisions and has become a respected expert in the Calgary market. 

After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of New Brunswick, Ian entered the commercial real estate industry and has gained an array of experience in leasing, sales, and property management. Ian’s history with Barclay Street dates back to the company’s predecessor having joined in 1984. 

As a Leasing Negotiator in the Suburban Calgary area, Ian helps his clients locate office space of all sizes and purposes. With extensive experience in both tenant and landlord representation, Ian has gained a full understanding of the leasing process so he can best represent his client’s interests and negotiate diligently for an optimal outcome. 

Ian has earned a solid reputation among clients, landlords, competitors and industry stakeholders that is built on his high ethical standards, trustworthy demeanour and unwavering client support. Outside of the real estate industry, Ian has been an active member in his community through his support of local hockey and soccer teams as coach and mentor.

Tim joined Barclay Street in early 2015 working in various trades in which he specialized in customer satisfaction, quality assurance and mechanical systems maintenance. He brings to the Barclay team well developed people skills that enable him to meet the needs of our clients efficiently and effectively. Tim will be taking his 5th Class Power Engineering Courses very soon and has a very intrinsic desire to learn as much about his chosen profession which will ultimately result in him providing more depth in knowledge and expertise when it comes to building operations.

Chris Rundle joined Barclay Street in June 2014 after graduating from the Mount Royal University business program with a Bachelor of Business Administration specializing in Finance and Economics. Before returning to school, Chris was the managing partner of a small residential construction company that was enjoying reasonable success until the economic downturn in 2008 forced him to close the doors on his young enterprise. He has always had a passion for real estate. So, with years of experience as a self-driven small business owner, he decided that the commercial real estate industry offered many interesting career pathways that would be ideal for a motivated and resourceful person like himself.
